The number of centres for teaching the Uzbek language in foreign higher education institutions will be increased by 2030 from the existing 17 to 60, and the Uzbek Language Friends clubs will be brought to 40, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.
These measures are envisaged in the decree signed yesterday by the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to further develop the Uzbek language and improve the language policy in the country”.
The document also prescribes to provide courses of the Uzbek language in foreign higher education institutions with necessary scientific, educational, methodological and fiction literature, to increase the number of scientific research on teaching the Uzbek language.
