According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, as of October this year, Uzbekistan has exported more than 52,000 tons of melons worth $ 20.3 million, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.
This figure is 32.4 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.
This melon product, grown in the fields of our country, was imported by 17 countries, with the Republic of Kazakhstan leading with 19.1 thousand tons.
Besides, 16.9 thousand tons of melons were exported to Kyrgyzstan, 6.1 thousand tons to the Russian Federation, 3.9 thousand tons to Ukraine and 2.6 thousand tons to Latvia.
